About the SCTA
The Sacramento Community Tennis Association is an incorporated non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the development of tennis in schools, parks and clubs.

Since 1998, the SCTA has channeled over $200,000 into the greater Sacramento area resulting in the attendance of over 10,000 players in free lessons, 12,000 new players enrolling in USA Tennis 1-2-3, and over 7,000 adults and juniors participating in USA Team Tennis. Relying mainly on grant funding provided through the USTA and TIA (Tennis Industry Association), the SCTA seeks to develop additional fundraising and volunteer support from the tennis community to further grow the game.

The Sacramento Community Tennis Association has a Board of Directors serving 2 year terms and 26 active member sites participating in USA Tennis programs, USA Tennis 1-2-3 and USA Team Tennis for youth and adults. Information and materials to run programs are available through the SCTA.
