Winners crowned at the 2008 National Western Mixed Doubles Championships

The Northern California (6.0 and 10.0) and Pacific Northwest (7.0 and 8.0) sections each captured two titles at the 2008 USTA League presented by Chrysler National Championships – Western Mixed Doubles, November 21-23, 2008 at the Gld River Racquet Club outside Sacramento.
The most thrilling match of the day took place when the Pacific Northwest 8.0 team edged past the Texas 8.0 team, 2-1, winning the deciding third court in a 17-15 match tiebreak.

Congratulations to the five winners and five second-place teams!

6.0 Champion: Copper River Country Club – Fresno, California (Northern California)

6.0 Runner-Up: College Hills Swim & Racquet Club – San Angelo, Texas (Texas)

7.0 Champion: Amy Yee Tennis Center – Seattle, Washington (Pacific Northwest)

7.0 Runner-Up: Amarillo Tennis Center – Amarillo, Texas (Texas)

8.0 Champion: Amy Yee Tennis Center – Seattle, Washington (Pacific Northwest)

8.0 Runner-Up: High Point Tennis Club, Dallas, Texas (Texas)

9.0 Champion: The Greens, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Missouri Valley)

9.0 Runner-Up: Summerlin Arbors, Las Vegas, Nevada (Intermountain)

10.0 Champion: Gold River Racquet Club – Gold River, California (Northern California)

10.0 Runner-Up: Vancouver Tennis Center - Vancouver, Washington (Pacific Northwest)
